Devendra Fadnavis Resigns From Maharashtra CM Post

Mumbai: Devendra Fadnavis resigns from Maharashtra CM post. This comes after an hour NCP leader Ajit Pawar resigned from Deputy CM post.

“I wish them all the best whoever will form the govt. But that will be a very unstable govt as there is a huge difference of opinions,” Fadnavis said while addressing the press here.

“In elections, the clear majority was given to Mahayuti and BJP got maximum 105 seats. We contested with Shiv Sena, but this mandate was for BJP because BJP won 70 per cent seats out of all seats we contested,” he added.

“I doubt that this three-wheeler govt will be stable but BJP will work as an effective opposition and try to raise the voice of people,” he further said attacking Maha Aghadi.

“The hunger for power is such that now Shiv Sena leaders are even willing to ally with Sonia Gandhi,” he took jibe on Shiv Sena.

Earlier in morning Supreme court passed an order for a floor test to take place tomorrow before 5 pm in evening.
