Mumbai: Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis took jibe on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and questioned whether Gandhi has the courage to apologize to Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Supreme Court dismissed the review petitions challenging its verdict in the Rafale case.

“Now, after the #RafaleVerdict by the Supreme Court, everything is crystal clear and it unravels every lie being spread by the INC during the Lok Sabha 2019 elections. Does Rahul Gandhi have the full grandeur to accept the truth and apologize to PM Is.? ”Fadnavis tweeted with his official handle.

The Supreme Court, earlier today dismissed the review petitions challenging its verdict in the Rafale case passed on December 14, 2018, upholding the 36 Rafale jets deal.

The apex court then dismissed the pleas seeking a court-monitored probe into alleged irregularities in the purchase of the jet, stating that “there was no opportunity to doubt the decision-making process in the deal”. It was also said that it was not his job to go to the issue of pricing of fighter jets.
