Don’t Quit BJP, Work For AAP Internally: Kejriwal Tells Guj BJP Workers

Mumbai: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday appealed to BJP workers in Gujarat to work for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) while staying in BJP.

Kejriwal said BJP labourers ought to keep on getting “instalments” from the BJP yet work for AAP “from inside”.

Addressing a press conference in Rajkot on the last day of his two-day Gujarat tour, Kejriwal said BJP workers would benefit from the promises made by him to the people if his party comes to power in the state.

“We don’t need BJP pioneers. The BJP can keep its chiefs. BJP’s ‘panna pramukhs’, laborers in towns, corners and talukas are going along with us in large numbers. I would like to ask them what the BJP gave them in return for their service in the party even after so many years?” the AAP national convener asked.

Kejriwal said the BJP didn’t offer free and quality schooling, medical services and free power to BJP labourers and their relatives however AAP will really focus on their government assistance.

“You (BJP labourers) can remain in that party however work for AAP. A large number of them get compensated (by BJP), so take the instalment from that point yet work for us, since we don’t have cash,” he said.

“At the point when we structure an administration, we will give free power, and this will apply to your homes too. We will give you free, 24-hour power, and fabricate great schools for your kids where they will get free instruction. We will guarantee free and quality treatment for your relatives and proposition Rs 1,000 to ladies (as recompense) in your family,” he said.

Interesting to the saffron party labourers, Kejriwal said there is no reason for remaining in the BJP and guaranteeing its triumph again following 27 years of rule.

“I might want to advise all the BJP labourers to remain there yet to work for the AAP. You are savvy, work for AAP from within,” he further said.

He raised the issue of the recent attack on Gujarat AAP general secretary Manoj Sorathiya and apprehended that many more attacks will take place “on the people of Gujarat for supporting AAP”.

“The attack on Manoj Sorathiya shows that BJP is desperate. It is not able to understand what to do. It is staring at a defeat,” he said.

Kejriwal said the AAP is not Congress and cannot be intimidated by the ruling party.
