DR Congo Hit By Fresh Ebola Outbreak

Mumbai: The Democratic Republic of Congo has announced that the country has detected the emergence of the Ebola virus outbreak in its Equateur Province.

About 6 cases of Ebola virus have been reported out of which 5 have died including a 15-year-old girl as confirmed by the WHO.

WHO has sent teams to Mbandaka supporting the response of the outbreak. The authorities said that contact tracing is a useful way to track the infection.
