Drug Peddlers Being Used To Trap My Family, One Approached My Sister: NCB’s Wankhede

Sammer Wankhede also took a shot on Malik’s allegations of wearing expensive clothes and ruled it a rumour

Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede, who is investigating a Mumbai cruise drugs case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, has claimed that attempts are being made to trap his family through drug peddlers.

He also lashed out at Maharashtra NCP leader Nawab Malik and said that he is been falsely accused of being levelled by sharing his WhatsApp chats.

“A peddler, Salman had approached my sister but she doesn’t take NDPS cases so she sent him back. Salman had tried to trap us via a middleman. He was arrested &he’s in jail. False allegations being levelled by sharing his WhatsApp chat,” Sameer Wankhede on Nawab Malik’s allegations.

“The middleman, who had tried to trap us, had given a false complaint earlier this year to Mumbai Police. Nothing came out of it. After that peddlers like Salman were used to trap my family. Such attempts are going on, drug mafia is behind this,” Wankhede added.

Further taking a shot on Nawab Malik’s allegations on wearing expensive clothes, he said that less knowledgeable people should find out things first and ruled it a rumour.

“As far as my expensive clothes (worn by Wankhede – as alleged by Nawab Malik) is concerned, it is just a rumour. He has less knowledge and he should find out these things,” said Mumbai NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede.

Meanwhile, the NCB on Tuesday seized a huge catchment of heroin worth crores from the Vile Parle area. NCB is searching for the accused who is absconding.
