Mumbai: A drug supplier has been taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) following a series of raids in Mumbai’s Bandra, Andheri and Lokhandwala on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
Earlier on Sunday, the NCB arrested all eight persons who were detained in connection with the Mumbai cruise party raid. Also Read: No Drugs Found On Aryan, He Went To Cruise Party As Guest: Lawyer To Court
The Esplanade Court in Mumbai has so far sent three accused, including Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, to NCB custody.
The next hearing will take place this afternoon. The other accused Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chaddha, Mohk Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar have been arrested and will be produced in court today after medical examination.
On Saturday evening, an NCB team busted an alleged drugs party aboard the Cordelia cruise ship, which was en route to Goa in the middle of the sea.
According to NCB Mumbai director Sameer Wankhede, eight people were detained by the NCB for questioning in connection with the seizure of drugs on the cruise ship.
