Drunk Naval Officer Sexually Abused Colleague’s Wife After Entering Room On Pretext Of Giving Head Massage

Mumbai: In another shocking incident, a Navy personnel’s wife was allegedly raped by his colleague at their shared rented flat in Maharashtra’s Mumbai. The crime took place last month but came to light on 17 May when the accused was arrested following a complaint from the victim woman.

Police said the victim’s husband and the accused person had rented an apartment in the Colaba area of ​​Mumbai last year. At the time of the incident, the woman’s husband went to Kerala for training.

Earlier, she had not reported the crime as the accused threatened her saying that if she disclosed the incident, he would kill himself and falsely implicate her husband. Later she gathered courage and pleaded with her husband, after which the case was registered and the accused was arrested.

“In her complaint, the woman said that on April 29, the accused was happy as he was promoted and had recently offered chocolate from Dubai. He also took some drinks. Later, she went to her bedroom and took a painkiller as she had a headache,” a report published by The Times of India stated.

The woman further said that after some time, the accused came to her room on the pretext of massaging her head and sexually abused her. The woman told the accused that she would tell her husband about his antics. Hearing this, the accused threatened to commit suicide by shooting himself and falsely implicating her husband.

The woman got scared. She made an attempt to slit her wrists. Later, she gathered courage and narrated her harrowing ordeal to her husband on the phone.

Last week, her husband returned to Mumbai from Kerala and lodged a complaint with the Naval Police. After this, the accused was arrested by registering a case under the relevant sections of the IPC at the Cuffe Parade police station.
