‘Early Detection Saves Lives’ Sonali Bendre On National Cancer Awareness Day

Mumbai: Sonali Bendre is a cancer survivor, on the National Cancer Awareness Day, she advised people to step out and go for the health checkup.

In a post on her twitter handle Sonali Bendre shared a throwback picture, she wrote: #YouCanToday This #NationalCancerAwarenessDay, make sure you pledge to protect yourself and your family/friend by scheduling a health checkup. Be aware and do the tests, especially if cancer runs in your family… because trust me, early detection saves lives!

Earlier in April, she talks about how her journey has been and shared, that cancer can happen to anyone at the 5th International Conference of CAHOCON in Mumbai. Sonali Bendre was called as the guest due to her continuing efforts to survive and raise awareness regarding cancer.

The 43-year-old star, Sonali was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. Sonali never shied away about opening her disease and transformation actively documented her life while fighting cancer. And she fought relentlessly for months to defeat it. It was during her dark times that she decided to switch on the sunshine and became an inspiration for many.

And now Sonali Bendre asked people to step out for the health checkup this National Cancer Awareness Day.
