ECI Appoints Special Observer On Ahead Of 2nd Phase In West Bengal

Mumbai: On Tuesday, in ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha Polls, the Election Commission Of India appointed special observers.

Ajay Nayak who is Indian Administrative Officer (IAS) of 1984 batch and was also Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) is been appointed by ECI.

In the first phase on 11th April, two parliamentary constituencies ie. Cooch Behar and Alipurduar went on for voting while the rest of the 40 seats will witness the voting process in 6 phases.

The polling of 2nd phases is dated on 18th April. Elections will be continued till 19th May. Results will be declared on May 23.
