Even Rahul’s 4th-Generation Can’t Bring Back Article 370: Shah
Mumbai: In a recent rally in Palamu, Jharkhand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused Congress of seeking to restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that such an attempt would be impossible under BJP governance. Shah stated, “Kashmir is an integral part of India. I warn Rahul Gandhi that even your fourth generation can’t bring back Article 370.”
Shah also took aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly displaying a “fake” copy of the Constitution, accusing him of disrespecting India’s founding document and the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
“Rahul Gandhi shows a copy of the Constitution… But it was void of any content. By waving a fake copy, he has insulted B.R. Ambedkar and the Constituent Assembly,” Shah claimed, urging the Congress leader to respect the sanctity of the Constitution. He announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has designated November 26 as Constitution Day to honour India’s foundational principles.
The Home Minister reiterated that the BJP would never allow the Congress to implement reservations for minorities, reinforcing the BJP’s stance on reservation policies.
Shah’s comments come ahead of Jharkhand’s 81-member assembly elections, scheduled for November 13 and 20, with vote counting on November 23.
