Every Bangladeshi Will Be Thrown Out Of Jharkhand: BJP’s JP Nadda

Mumbai: At a recent election rally in Bishrampur, Palamu district, BJP national president JP Nadda pledged that if the party takes power in Jharkhand, it will work to protect the rights of local communities and prevent tribal status for children born to “infiltrator” fathers and local tribal mothers.

“Every Bangladeshi will be thrown out of Jharkhand,” Nadda asserted, emphasizing that the party would not permit such individuals to claim tribal rights through marriage with local women.

Nadda criticized the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing it of providing shelter to Bangladeshi immigrants and allowing them to acquire tribal land. He further alleged corruption within the JMM-led government, describing it as a “single-engine” administration hindering the state’s development and urged voters to support the BJP’s “double-engine” model for more effective governance.

Echoing these sentiments, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also addressed the issue at an election rally in Potka, East Singhbhum. Shah accused the JMM-Congress coalition of “welcoming infiltrators with a red carpet,” and promised that a BJP-led government would prioritize the deportation of Bangladeshi migrants. Shah clarified that the BJP’s proposal for a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) would not infringe on tribal rights, countering claims that UCC would diminish the rights of indigenous communities.

Shah vowed, “Not a bird will be allowed to cross the border” if the BJP assumes power, reinforcing the party’s stance on deportation and land protection for tribals. Both leaders emphasized a commitment to safeguarding the state’s indigenous populations while opposing any perceived encroachment by “infiltrators.”
