Ex-Raj CM Self-Isolates After Attending Party With Kanika Who Got Coronavirus
Mumbai: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son Dushyant are in self-isolation after the mother-son duo attended a dinner with singer Kanika Kapoor who has tested positive for coronavirus.
Singer Kanika Kapoor tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Friday. While details are still emerging, we know that Kanika returned from London about 10 days ago.
“I was scanned at the airport as per normal procedure 10 days ago when I came back home,” she told in an Instagram post on Friday. Since then, she attended a party and met with many others.
While the singer denied that it was a big affair with many, two in attendance were former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and her son Dushyant Singh, Lok Sabha MP from Jhalawar-Baran.

“While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant and his in-laws. Kanika, who unfortunately tested positive for #Kovid19, was also a guest. Speaking of abundant caution. In form, my son and I have immediate self-quarantine. And we are taking all necessary precautions, “she wrote on Twitter.

The two politicians have since separated themselves. However, Singh also attended Parliament in the interim period.
