Kala: The Craft – Fabindia is a brand known to preserve and enhance age-old crafts while keeping the contemporary consumer in mind. This craft-conscious collection features traditional techniques of Chikankari Embroidery, Indigo Dyeing and Printing, Hand-Block Printing from regional communities of our country. Having been passed down from one generation to the next, the art of our crafts lies in the hands of our artisans passed on to the threads of our fabrics and apparel.
Kapda: The Fabric- Our fabrics used to create our apparel and home furnishings are infused with the skills of our artisans, designed to embrace everyday living with Fabindia. Natural dyes, upcycled weaves, hand-blocked prints, colourful woven fabrics converted to stylish silhouettes perfect for work or play. Fabindia’s design sensibilities, soft and comfortable clothing and soft furnishings creates a movement in slow fashion, making buying less, but “buying better” a trend that is here to stay.
Karigar: The Artisan- Our community consists of our artisans who are our backbone. Together with their skills and craft; our commitment is to connect the dots to our end consumer. Supporting our purpose and vision to provide livelihoods, we are forever grateful to our pan-India artisan community who continue to bring you some of these incredible crafts that celebrate India.
Our design team has worked closely with our artisans to create collections that are driven by craft, using natural fibres, enhancing the role of our artisans for these upcoming capsules for the months of January, February and March soon to be available at our stores and on fabindia.com.
