Mumbai: Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait on Saturday warned the Centre over the new farm laws and said that farmers know how to teach a lesson to people who ignore farmers.
“Through the Kisan Sansad, the farmers have done the work of awakening the deaf and dumb government. The farmer who knows how to run the Parliament also knows how to teach a lesson to those who ignore them. Let no one forget that,” Tikait said in a post on social media platform Twitter.
#FarmersProtest #FarmersProtest_AtParliament

Farmers have been organizing Kisan Sansad at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar for the last three days to demand the complete withdrawal of three new agricultural laws brought in late last year.
Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar told Parliament that the central government has not done any study to establish the concerns of farmers.
Thousands of farmers, especially from Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh, have been camping at Delhi borders for the past eight months in protest against the Centre’s laws. Of them, 200 are staging the protest at Jantar Mantar.
