Fevicol Ka Mazboot Jod Hai, Our Govt Will Go On For 5 Yrs: Maharashtra Cong

Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole on Thursday said that the state government will go on till its entire duration and “BJP’s false allegations” won’t affect it.

He asserted that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government will complete its full term.

“There will be no problem. Ye Fevicol ka mazboot jod hai. The government will go on for five years. They (BJP) may level as many false allegations as they want, it won’t affect the government. They are trying to malign Maharashtra. People of the state won’t forgive them,” Patole told ANI.

The Mahavikas Aghadi government led by Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress in Maharashtra is facing uproar following Singh’s allegation that the state home minister gave the police a target to collect  ₹ 100 crores every month.

In his petition in the Supreme Court yesterday, Singh claimed that the Maharashtra Home Minister pressured him to investigate the role of some BJP leaders and “implicate them” in the case of MP Mohan Delkar’s death.

Noting that the High Court is competent enough to deal with the issue, the apex court had pointed out that the parties concerned were “quite lewd” in the past, but were now making arrests after filing charges against each other.
