Mumbai: Ranveer Singh starrer film ‘83’ is all set begin it’s shooting from June 5 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Directed by Kabir Khan film features Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev, captain of the World Cup-winning Indian cricket team of 1983, meantime Deepika Padukone will play a role Kapil’s wife as Romi Bhatia
The team will shoot at a local cricket club in the Scottish port city for a week, followed by other popular places such as Dulwich College in London, Edinburgh Cricket Club, Royal Tunbridge Wales, Queens Ground, and Oval Cricket Grounds

This film will carry India’s victory under the captaincy of Kapil, when the team won the first World Cup trophy in 1983, defeating the West Indies in the final.
