First Surgical Strike Was Done In September 2016, Balakot Air Strike Was Biggest Achivement For India

Mumbai: It seems that a lot is happening against Rahul Gandhi and his party Congress, because Lt Gen Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Indian Army confirmed that in September 2016, the first surgical strike by the Armed Forces had gone to Uri attack.

A few months ago, the Congress party had claimed that armed forces had struck six surgical strikes during the UPA regime. Senior Congress leader Rajiv Shukla had also listed dates when these ‘surgical strikes’ were made.

“Congress never tried to take credit for these attacks. The only one who has a surgical strike is patting his back.

To take credit for these attacks, neither Dr Manmohan Singh and neither Vajpayee addressed a press conference,” Shukla said.

However, rejecting the claims of the old old party, the GOC Northern Command said, “A few days ago DGMO had said in response to an RTI that the first surgical strike took place on 16th September, I do not want to say that what the political parties say,” said to ANI news Agency.

Meanwhile, talking about Balakot air strikes, Singh said, “Air strikes by the Air Force on Balakot terrorism structure were a huge achievement in which our aircraft went deep into enemy territory and attacked terrorist launchpads. The Pakistanis took air operations the following day, although they were retaliated. “
