“For Us Country Comes First, Ahead Of Vote Banks,” Says Amit Shah’s In Kolkata Rally
Mumbai : Amit Shah Visit’s first time to West Bengal after the release of Assam’s draft national Register of Citizens (NRC) on July, 30. On Saturday he addressed the Yuva Swabhiman Samavesh rally in Kolkata. He targeted Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and asked her to rectify the sentence she said for Trinamool Congress “protecting” illegal immigrants.
As per reports by The Indian Express on July 31, The BJP has proposed similar efforts to “identify illegal migrants from Bangladesh in West Bengal”.
There is even a high security allotted for the event. Even the police are positioned in a particular place to avoid any mishaps during Shah’s speech.
The rally was organized by the BJP’s youth wing BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM). At his arrival from the NSC Bose International Airport black flags were shown by the youth Congress workers and raised anti-Modi and Anti- Shah Slogans. Where they even tried to block Amit Shah’s convoy
The organizing BJP Yuva Morcha (BJYM) tweeted, “The whole West Bengal is standing with BJP and against you @MamataOfficial ji. #BJPForSonarBangla.
Quoting to PTI, Poonam Mahajan BJYM President said, “Our workers are being attacked on a daily basis. Since yesterday we have reports that our workers are being assaulted and stopped from coming to the rally.”
While addressing in the crowd the President said the Trinamool Congress has not done anything for the people of the state. She even accused Mamta Banerjee for a U-turn on the issue of infiltration.
Where BJP chief Amit’s Shah message and target was clear that they are here to uproot Mamata Banerjee, as thousands in the crowd cheered him.
He even summoned Mamata Banerjee of making sure that the BJP’s today rally was blacked out on all Bangla TV News channels. “We are not against West Bengal, but we are definitely against Mamata Banerjee. I am here to protest against the TMC. Even if you try to suppress our voices, we will go to every district of Bengal and throw TMC out,” he added. He even asked crowd,” Shouldn’t Bangladeshi immigrants be thrown out?”
Shah questioned, “Why is Mamata Banerjee protecting Bangladeshi infiltrators?” He added saying that the infiltration should be stopped for the development of West Bengal. “You can oppose us as much as you want, but we will not stall the process of NRC. Neither Mamata or Congress chief Rahul Gandhi can stop the BJP from doing it,” he said.
BJP Chief Amit Shah said,” Corruption is flourishing in the state under TMC, since the party came into power. Further he stated, “For us, country comes first, ahead of vote bank. You can oppose us as much as you want, but we will not stall the process of NRC.” He even said concluding that,” Give one chance to Narendra Modi and he will take the development of West Bengal forward.”poop
