Mumbai: France said on Wednesday it was ending the obligation to wear masks outside and would lift a 10-day night curfew, as Covid infections fall and the country’s vaccine campaign intensifies.

Prime Minister Jean Castex said the requirement for people to wear masks outside with some exceptions would be removed from Thursday, while an unpopular Covid curfew would be abolished on June 20.
