Gehana Lured Struggling Actors Into Doing Porn, Paid Them ₹20k Per Film: Police

Mumbai: Actress Gehana Vasisth, who has been arrested for shooting and uploading 87 porn videos, lured struggling actors into doing porn, the police said. The police added that she paid the actors ₹15,000-₹20,000 per film reports ANI.

Reportedly, the police will produce the actress in court on Sunday (7 February). According to a TV9 report, the police have also arrested some models and side actresses in connection with the case.

The report said police received a secret notification that some bungalows in Mud Island were being used for shooting prostitution and pornographic videos and adult videos in the guise of the film shoot. Police also received complaints from some victims that they were forced to play roles in porn videos.

Based on the information, the police raided Madh Island in Malad on February 5 and raided several properties, during which it came to know about a gang that used to lure young struggling jobs under the pretext of giving them roles in movies. According to police, the gang used to take these young girls to the bungalow, where they shoot them weird scenes and then pay them handsome money to act in pornographic videos.

The report added that the police rescued two more girls, who have now been sent to rehabilitation.

Apart from Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Gandii Baat’, Gehana has worked in several shows and films like ‘Luckhnowi Ishq’, ‘Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai’ among others. She first came into the limelight in 2012 after winning the Miss Asia Bikini contest.
