Gifted Black BMW Car To Nora Fatehi, Claims Conman Arrested In ₹200cr Cheating Case

Mumbai: Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who has been arrested in a ₹200-crore cheating case, claimed he had gifted a black BMW car to actress Nora Fatehi, ANI reported.

Further ANI sources said that “during the interrogation, Chandrasekhar has revealed that he has given bribes in crores to the Rohini and Tihar jail officials.”

Conman Sukesh has been in jail since 2017 in the Election Commission bribery case and had come under the radar after the Delhi Police registered a case of extortion of Rs 200 crore from Aditi Singh, wife of Ranbaxy promoter Shivinder Singh. Sukesh’s jail sentence is to end on Saturday.

Sukesh has disclosed before the ED, “he got additional benefits with jail officials in lieu of bribe”. “After the investigation, six officers were suspended,” the sources said.

He also revealed that actress Nora Fatehi was gifted a black BMW car in which her statement was recorded by the ED.

Sukesh and his wife Leena Maria Paul claimed that “they had gifted Nora Fatehi a BMW car last year.”

The ED suspects that Sukesh had bought the car after extorting extortion from Shivinder Singh’s wife. However, during interrogation, Fatehi has denied the allegations levelled by Sukesh and his spokesperson issued a statement a day after he appeared in the ED.

“Nora Fatehi has been a victim of the case and being a witness, she is assisting the authorities in the investigation. We would like to clarify that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity,” said a statement issued on behalf of Nora Fatehi.

According to ANI sources, the thug also informed about the gift given to Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez.

ED is trying to verify the claims of Sukesh and his wife. Earlier in the month, the ED had issued a third summons to Fernandez as he missed questioning in connection with the ongoing probe in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
