Girl Hangs Self After Man Puts Her Objectionable Photos On Social Media In Etah

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a girl in Etah district hanged herself after an objectionable picture of her was made viral by a man.

The victim was found hanging by her parents at their house in the Bagwala police station area. As soon as the news of the incident spread, top police officers including Additional SP, Circle Officer gathered. The incident happened on Monday.

Based on the complaint of the girl’s father, an FIR has been registered against a person who is suspected of making her pictures viral. According to a report in Hindi daily Hindustan, the accused has been identified as Durvijay alias Kallan.

According to the girl’s parents, Durvijay clicked an ‘objectionable’ photo of the victim and made it viral on social media.

On Sunday, the girl’s brother saw the ‘objectionable’ picture, who in turn informed her parents. Later, the girl got the news of the photo going viral, due to which she got frustrated and hanged herself by locking the room.

The girl’s father later filed an FIR and subsequently the accused was arrested. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Uday Shankar Singh said prime face it was a case of an affair between the two. “We have filed an FIR against the accused and arrested him,” said SSP.
