Mumbai: Reacting to Sportskeeda asking its followers what advice they’d give to Virat Kohli amid his poor form, veteran leg-spinner Amit Mishra tweeted, “Giving batting advice to Kohli is like showing torch to the sun.”
Soon after sending the former India captain to the pavilion on the first ball of match number 54 of IPL 2022 between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Amit Mishra made a tweet in support of Virat.
The right-handed batsman came to the crease as an opener but was sent back into the dugout by Jagdish Suchit on the very first ball. SRH captain Kane Williamson completed the catch as Kohli failed to open his account for the second time this season against the 2016 winners.
Replying to a Twitter post in which the user asked fans to share their piece of advice for Virat, Mishra responded by saying, “Giving batting advice to Virat Kohli is like showing a torch to the sun.”
“Just a matter of few games before he comes back strong as ever. He did it after the 2014 England tour and he will do it again,” he added.
