Mumbai: Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa passed away on Sunday. Since long he was suffering from his illness and had an check up in Mumbai, Delhi, New york, Goa.
He served as an CM for consecutive 4 time and was Defence Minister in BJP government from 2014 to 2017.
Hon President Ram nath Kovind tweeted and paid his condolences saying,’ Extremely sorry to hear of the passing of Shri Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa after an illness borne with fortitude and dignity. An epitome of integrity and dedication in public life, his service to the people of Goa and of India will not be forgotten’.

Parrikar since 2018 was suffering from Pancreatic cancer. He was born on 13th December 1955.
