Goal To Make India 5-Trillion Economy Is Achievable: Narendra Modi At NITI Aayog

Mumbai: The NITI Aayog has already commenced, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It was the fifth meeting of NITI Aayog’s Governing Council here Saturday

The meeting is being attended by all chief ministers, except Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal) and K Chandrashekhar Rao (Telangana), and senior union ministers

According to an official release, Modi insisted that NITI Aayog has an important role in fulfilling the mantra of “Sabka Katha, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vikas”.

Recalling the recent general elections as the world’s largest democratic exercise, the Prime Minister said that now it is time for everyone to work for India’s development.

He said that the newly constructed Water Supply Ministry will help in providing an integrated approach to water and the state can also integrate various efforts for water conservation and management.
