Good Coordination Between Uddhav Thackeray, Modi: Sanjay Raut

Mumbai: After the recent developments in Maharashtra regarding coronavirus, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that there is good coordination between Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as there is a challenge of having coronavirus in Maharashtra.

Raut said, “There is a good synergy between Prime Minister Modi and Uddhav Thackeray. In times of crisis, we accept the leadership of Narendra Modi. The country needs him.”

The state has recorded at least 52 coronavirus infection cases so far.

The Shiv Sena said that opposition and ruling parties should work together to overcome political differences during such crises.

When asked about the alleged attempts by the Maharashtra BJP to destabilize the Shiv Sena-led coalition government, Raut said that “all BJP leaders who indulge in such activities should be separated from that party”.

“There is awareness about coronavirus, but those who consider themselves leaders should also take care of themselves,” Raut said.

He said, “To say Bharatmata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram is not patriotic. It is also patriotic to listen to your Chief Minister.”

On the fall of the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, Raut claimed that it was doubtful whether the next BJP-led government would be stable; like the Congress, the BJP could also be beset by rebellion.
