Mumbai: United States President Donald Trump suffered defeat in the final primary primary election on Thursday, saying through a statement that there would be a systematic change in power on 20 January.
The statement came shortly after the joint session of US Congress-certified Democrat Joe Biden’s victory in the US presidential election held in November last year.
Biden is scheduled to take over as US President on 20 January.
“Even though I completely disagree with the outcome of the election, and I remember the facts, there will be an order on January 20. I have always said that we will continue our fight to ensure that only the legal votes are counted,”Trump said.
…fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

The outdoing president described his rule as ‘the greatest first term in primary history’.
“While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again,” he stated.
The development came on a day when unprecedented scenes were seen in the American Capitol, where Congress is located. Pro-Trump supporters blew up the Capitol Building due to violence and clashes with security personnel.
During the siege in the Capitol, MPs were taken to safer places, shots were fired inside Congress and tear gas was used.
Four people were killed in a riot that lasted at least four hours. Later, it was reported that at least 52 people were arrested for security violations and violence at the Capitol.
The incident disrupted a joint session of the US Congress that was being held in the November 3 election to certify the election victory of Joe Biden as the next US president and Kamala Harris as vice president.
Congress called a meeting again after the Capitol Building was secured and formal certification to end Trump’s four-year rule and swirling transition.
