“He Demonstrated His Fearless Leadership In Lok Sabha Election Campaign,” Sonia Gandhi Praises Rahul Gandhi
Mumbai: Sonia Gandhi thanked her son and Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his valiant and relentless campaign in the Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Sonia Gandhi was addressing the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) meeting in New Delhi.
While Congratulating Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi said, “I wholeheartedly welcome this opportunity, thanks to Rahul Ji for his brave and untiring campaign.” As Congress President, Rahul Gandhi has given his all and toiled night and day for the Congress party. He demonstrated his fearless leadership, by taking the Modi government head-on.”
Sonia Gandhi said, “As Congress President, he earned the respect and love of every worker and crores of voters in the length and breadth of our country.”
In the meeting, she was once again elected leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party.
She also said that Rahul Gandhi’s leadership helped the Congress in highlighting the injustice done against farmers and others.
“He highlighted the injustice done against farmers, workers, businessmen and small businesses, against the youth, women and marginalized in our society,” she said.
“Even when I speak, emotional message is coming from all corners, we are commending their leadership. We all thank them for their unwavering purpose, their untiring efforts, their hard work and leadership,” Sonia Gandhi added.
