Highest Spike Till Now, As India Reports 9,304 COVID19 Cases & 260 Deaths In 24Hrs
Mumbai: With the highest spike of 9,304 positive cases and 260 deaths in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally surged to 2,176,919, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The number of active cases in India is 1,06,737. Around 1,04,107 people have been cured and discharged. The death toll in the country crossed the 6 thousand mark to become 6,075.
About 42,42,718 samples have been tested up to date out of which 1,39,485 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours as per the ICMR.
Most infections have been recorded in Maharashtra with about 74,860 cases and 2,587 deaths. It is followed by Tamil Nadu with 25,872 and Delhi with 23,645 cases.
The country has experienced the much darker side of nature this year with Covid-19 pandemic, cyclonic storms, locust attack, and simultaneous earthquakes.
