Himachal Pradesh To Reopen Schools For Classes 9 To 12 From Monday

State to create & fill up 8000 posts of multi-task workers in the educational institute

Mumbai: Himachal Pradesh government announced on Friday that schools for classes 9 to 12 in the state will reopen from September 27.

The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by the chief minister Jai Ram Thakur.

Students of class 10th & 12th would attend schools on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, whereas students of class 9th & 11th would attend schools on Thursday, Friday &Saturday in a week

Himachal Pradesh reported 161 new cases making the tally of active cases to 2,541. The covid positivity rate in the state was 1.9% last week.

Himachal Pradesh Cabinet also decided to create & fill up 8000 posts of multi-task workers in the educational institutions under Higher and Elementary Departments, as per the provisions of the Part-Time Multi-Task Workers Policy 2020,

The multi-task workers will be provided with a consolidated honorarium of ₹5,625 per month for 10 months in an academic year, as per the policy.
