HM Amit Shah Visits Family Of J-K Inspector Killed In Anantnag Terror Attack

Mumbai: Home Minister Amit Shah visited the family of Jammu and Kashmir Police Inspector Arshad Ahmad Khan on Thursday, who was killed in a terrorist attack on Anantnag on June 12.

Amid tight security arrangements, Shah met the family in the Bal Garden area of ​​the city.

The area was closed for the visit of the Home Minister.

Khan, 37, was injured in the terror attack and later went to Delhi in the air ambulances for special treatment. However, he succumbed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Amit Shah tweeted saying, “Visited the home of inspector Arshad Khan, SHO Anantnag in Srinagar, who was martyred in a terror attack & offered my condolences to the bereaved family.”

“His sacrifice for the security of our nation has saved many lives. The entire nation is proud of Arshad Khan‘s valour & courage,” he added.
