Hope All MPs Have Quality Discussions With Open Mind: PM Ahead Of Budget Session

Mumbai: Ahead of the Budget session, PM Narendra Modi on Monday said that in this session too, discussions, issues of discussions and open-minded debates can become an important opportunity for global impact.

The Prime Minister said that India has a lot of opportunities in the present world scenario. He said that this session instils confidence in the world about the country’s economic progress, vaccination program and Made in India vaccines.

Discussions and open-minded debates during this session can also be a powerful opportunity for global impact, the PM adding that he hopes all MPs and political parties will have open-minded discussions with a view to taking the country quickly down the path to development.

“I hope all MPs and political parties will debate with an open mind to take India forward on the path of development,” said the PM.

Ahead of the assembly elections to be held in five states, he said that the sessions and debates of Parliament are influenced by the periodic elections. While the elections will continue, the PM underlined that the budget session outlines an annual plan for the entire year.

PM Modi said, “I request all the MPs that elections should be held but the budget session is very important, we need to make it fruitful.”

He said that the more fruitful this session will be, the better the chance will be to take the country to economic heights throughout the year.
