HP Records 11 New COVID Cases, Tally Rises To 851

Mumbai: The health department said that eleven more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Himachal Pradesh, taking the total number of cases in the state to 851 on Friday.

In the latest cases, 10 from Kangra and one from Solan, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) RD Dhiman said that the number of active cases in the state was 339.

He said that eight patients – five from Kangra and one each from Shimla, Solan and Una – have recovered from the infection on Friday.

Dhiman said that 491 people have been cured so far, while 11 COVID-19 patients have gone out of the state.

So far eight people have died due to the virus in Himachal Pradesh.

The most active cases of COVID-19 in the state are 108 in Hamirpur, 102 in Kangra, 45 in Solan, 27 in Una.
