“I Have No Problem With Him,” Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh Over Sidhu’s Controversy

Mumbai: Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh confirmed that he received the resignation from Navjot Singh Sidhu, however, said he will take a final decision after looking at the text of the resignation letter.

Earlier, Sidhu had said that he resigned on June 10, but made the letter public on yesterday (July 14th) and created controversy while addressing it to the Congress president. However, on Monday, Sidhu said that he sent the Singh’s office.

“Today I have sent my resignation to the Chief Minister Punjab, has been delivered at his official residence,” Sidhu said in a statement on Twitter today (July 15).

CM of Punjab said that regarding the cracks caused by the rehabilitation of Sidhu’s portfolio, he said that he was not happy with the previous decision, but he said that there is a need for discipline because no one can choose the work given to them. Using an army analogy, war veteran Amarinder said that “Generals have to work assigned to them”.

“I have no problem with him, I actually gave them a very important portfolio after the shuffle.” It was his decision to leave the cabinet. I am told that he has sent a letter to my office, will go through it and then see what is to be done, “said Capt Amarinder.

While criticizing Amarinder Singh during Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s campaign for Lok Sabha elections, Singh clarified that Amritsar MLA was not with him.

“I have never opposed Mrs Sidhu, in fact, I was the one who had recommended to Rahul Ji that he contested from Bathinda.” Sidhu had said that his wife will not contest from Bathinda but will contest from Chandigarh so it is his The party decides on these things, “said Singh.

However, an ‘adamant’ Sidhu had refused to take charge of his new portfolio after the Cabinet reshuffle since the last one month.
