“I Know Nothing About The Imapsse Between Sony And Marvel”, says Tom Holland’s Father

Mumbai: Marvel fans all around the world are heartbroken after it was announced the friendly neighbourhood superhero Spider-Man is out of Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios couldn’t crack to deal and reached a deadlock.

Reportedly, the two studio giants got into discussions to renew the deal for Spidey’s appearance in MCU. However, as the profit-sharing deals didn’t fall through, Sony that owns the character’s movie rights bowed out of a deal.

The ‘Spider-Man’ star Tom Holland has not commented on the matter yet, however, his father expressed his thoughts on his blogs.

He wrote, “When Super-heroes need saving, then we truly are in trouble.” “Radio stations are keen to have me appear on their programmes, eager for me to speculate and add to the fervour. Naturally, I decline. No comment is what I want to say but I don’t for fear of appearing rude and above my station.”

He further added, “I know nothing about the impasse between Sony and Marvel. I have no inside track on such issues. But whatever is decided by the big suits at these big Hollywood studios – my hunch is that the show will continue. Too much at stake and too many dollars riding on it – and besides, everyone wants the same thing; namely, Spider-Man on large screens keeping people safe and entertained.”
