ICC World Cup: England Lifts Trophy For The First Time Ever For Hitting More Boundaries

Mumbai: Finally the day arrived when the universe will get it’s new ICC World Cup winner.

England will take on New Zealand at Lords today both the team has not won the World Cup title yet.

Winning the toss New Zealand decided to bat first tough it was not good batting performance by the black caps they set a below-par score of just 241 runs. H.Nicholls played well contributed well of 55 runs whereas other batsman didn’t perform due to which England easily restricted them Belo par score.

The total was less on the board but it was not easy to chase against New Zealand bowlers, it was the World Cup final and turned into most thrilling match ever in the history of Cricket as for the first time ever World Cup final turned into the tie.

Ben Stokes was the one who played like one man army scored 84 matches single-handedly took the match till last over which turned into the tie.

In Super over both the team scored 15 runs each after hitting 241 runs apiece in their respective over.

Well, England scored 24 boundaries whereas New Zealand hit only 16 boundaries by which it was clear that England was the new world champion.
