ICC World Cup: Team India To Wear Orange Colour Jersey Against Host England On June 30

Mumbai: Team India will wear an orange jersey for their World Cup 2019 match against England on June 30, India Today reported.

India, who are playing a blue kit for the World Cup, will play a different dress for the game against England.

England, the host of World Cup 2019, is also playing blue in jersey and they have the right to retain their kits.

After a statement from the ICC, the team said that after allowing the teams to provide two different kit kits, there was speculation about the jersey format far away from home.

“For ICC events, all participating teams will need to provide two different colour kits, except for the host country, who have priority in colour choice and may, if he chooses to do so, then only one Provide a colourful kit is worn in all the matches throughout the event. In advance of the event, the teams will be informed which colourful kit will be worn in each match, ” ICC stated.

The blue tint is expected to be the colour of the collar of the said new jersey.

Earlier, South Africa had changed their shirt colour from green to yellow for the second World Cup 2019 match against Bangladesh, which also wears green kit on 2nd June.
