“If I Won’t Go Then Who will? ” Sunny Deol Says About Kartarpur Inauguration Ceremony

Mumbai: As Amit Shah said,  the historic inauguration of the kartarpur corridor will be dedicated to Nation which will be on 9th November. This inauguration will be done by the PM Modi.

Gurdaspur MP and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sunny Deol is very excited to visit the kartarpur inauguration after being selected to be a part of the official ‘Jatha’. On Thursday he said he will definitely visit as it is his area and home.

“If I won’t go who will? I will definitely go. It is my area and my home,” Sunny Deol told while answering the question about the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor to ANI.

This comes after the Punjab Chief Minister Office (CMO) announced the list of people attending the kartarpur inauguration ceremony on Thursday evening.

Ministry of External Affairs earlier in the evening cleared the request of Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu to visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib on the occasion of Kartarpur Corridor inauguration priorly.

India had already shared a list of 575 people who will attend the inauguration ceremony on 9th Nov. This list includes, former PM Manmohan Singh to visit as ‘common man ‘. Other high-profile pilgrims who will go in the ‘jatha’ include Union Ministers Hardeep Puri, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, Punjab’s MPs, and MLAs among others.

On the agreement between Ind-Pak on 24 October, the kartarpur Sahib corridor will be open for the pilgrims of India on the 550th anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

The Kartarpur Corridor will connect the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Punjab’s Gurdaspur district with Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan.
