I’ll Be Out Of Cancer Soon: Sanjay Dutt

Mumbai: Opening for the first time about his battle with cancer, actor Sanjay Dutt says he is optimistic that he will “beat” the disease soon.

In August, the 61-year-old actor announced he was taking a break from his professional commitments to focus on medical treatment, with reports that he was battling lung cancer.

In an Instagram video posted late Wednesday evening, Sanjay Dutt was seen getting a haircut at the salon of celebrity hairstylist Alia Hakeem.

The actor pointed to a scar designed by Hakeem as part of a haircut and said, “This is the recent scar of my life, but I will beat it. I will get out of this cancer soon.”

At the end of the video, when Hakim said that he is happy that the actor appears in good spirits, Dutt replies that he has started working again, after losing weight due to treatment.

“I’m regaining my muscles, they’re slowly coming back. I’ll get out of it,” he said.
