Income Tax Department Conducts Raids At Properties Of Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu

Mumbai: The Income Tax Department is conducting raids at the properties of film director Anurag Kashyap and actress Taapsee Pannu today. As per reports, the properties of Vikas Bahl are also being searched.

The searches are being conducted reportedly in relation to tax evasion linked with now-defunct production house Phantom Films.

Apart from these celebrities’ residences in Mumbai and Pune, raids are being conducted in 20 other places. The Income Tax Department has considered tax evasion as the reason behind the raid.

Filmmaker Madhu Mantena Verma, who also runs a talent management company, is under the lens of the I-T department.
