IND Vs Ban: Bangladesh To Clinch The T20 Series, Do Or Die For India
Mumbai: After a loss against Bangladesh in 1st T20, India will look to win the 2nd match as it will be kind of knockout match for India. In 1st match, India was poor in all aspects I.e, batting, bowling and fielding. India has to look forward and play fearlessly.
As previously mentioned India needs to get those big scores of 170-180 and to make that score opener need to use the power play wisely as in first 6 overs there are only 2 players outside the inner ring, they have to manage the score of 50-60 in first 6 overs. And as India doesn’t have much experience in the middle order, one of the top three batsmen has to play till 15th over.
Though we know that Rishabh Pant is not playing wisely but as Rohit said at the start of the tour that we are going to stick with Rishabh for a while, Pant needs to understand the situation and play his natural game.
India needs an extra batsman and I think Manish Pandey should be in the side as if first three batsman falls quickly then you need an experienced guy in the middle order.
India should stick with Yuzvendra Chahal as he has proved that he is still India’s number one leg spinner in the limited-overs format. Khaleel might be rested if not he has to get his yorker right and needs to mix his pace in death overs. In the 19th over of the last match, he was continuously bowling at 135 -140 km and his balls were always missing the yorker length and that’s the reason he got hit for 4 boundaries off 4 bowls by Mushfiqur.
India will take on Bangladesh in second T20 on Nov 7.
