IND vs NZ: India Begin Kiwi Tour With Their Highest Successful Overseas Chase In T20I Cricket Take 1-0 lead

Mumbai: The Indian cricket team opened its T20I campaign on Kiwi soil with a comprehensive 6-wicket win against Kane Williamson’s men.

India chased down the target of 204 against New Zealand and record their highest successful overseas chase in T20I cricket.

India’s previous highest successful overseas chase had come on July 8, 2018, when they chased down England’s 198 in Bristol. The second New Zealand-India T20I will take place on Sunday.

KL Rahul and Virat Kohli scored a 99-run match-winning innings for the second wicket, after which Shreyas Iyer’s unbeaten 58 off 29 balls brought the audience to victory.
