India Condemns USCIRF’s Statement On CAB: MEA Raveesh Kumar,

Mumbai: Condemning the “wrong” and “inappropriate” comments made by the US Commission on Citizenship Amendment Bill (USCIRF) on the Citizenship Amendment Bill passed in the Lok Sabha yesterday, India said on Tuesday that the bill was aimed at Indian citizenship soon. The Bill which was introduced by Home Minister Amit Shah has been brought to ensure that persecuted communities in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh can live a dignified life in India.
