Mumbai: The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Monday said that with 45,903 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, India’s total cases have increased to 85,53,657.
With 490 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the death toll has risen to 1,26,611. The total number of active cases in the last 24 hours is 5,09,673, while the total number of cases cured is 79,173,373.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 11,85,72,192 samples have been tested for coronavirus as of 8 November, of which 8,35,401 samples were tested yesterday.
