Mumbai: India has reported 10,584 new COVID-19 cases and 78 fatalities in the last 24 hours, as per the Union Health Ministry. With this, the total cases rose to 1,10,16,434, while the death toll reached 1,56,463.
As many as 13,255 patients were discharged in a day, taking the total recoveries to 1,07,12,665. The country’s active cases now stand at 1,47,306.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, the total number of samples tested till Monday was 21,22,30,431. The ICMR also stated that 6,78,685 samples were tested on 22 February.
