India Reports 13,615 New COVID-19 Cases, Active Cases Rise To 1,31,043

Mumbai: India has reported 13,615 COVID-19 cases, 13,265 recoveries and 20 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 4,36,52,944 and the death toll rose to 5,25,474 with 20 new deaths, data updated at 8 am.

Active cases comprise 0.30 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.50 per cent.

The active COVID-19 caseload has registered an increase of 330 cases in a span of 24 hours.

According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was recorded at 3.23 per cent and the weekly positivity rate at 4.24 per cent.

The number of people cured of the disease rose to 4,29,96,427, while the death rate was recorded at 1.20 per cent.

According to the ministry, under the nationwide vaccination campaign, 199 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have been given in the country so far.
