Mumbai : India V/S Australia, India defeated Australia by 31 run in Adelaide test on Monday morning, registered victory in the opening match of test series for the first time ever.

India had drawn two and lost nine of there opening matches in the previous test matches in Australia. With this win India took a lead of 1-0 in 4-match test series.

India set the target of 321 runs whereas Australia able to make only 291 runs before Josh Hazlewood became the last man to fall to Ravichandran Ashwin.

On the other had wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant made an history of matching the record of 11 catches in a test, earlier the record was held by England’s Jack Russell and South Africa’s AB de Villiers.
