Indian Navy To Hold Salutation Ceremony In Honour To COVID-19 Warriors

Mumbai: Indian Navy will hold a salutation ceremony in Mumbai and Goa on Sunday to honour the efforts of Coronavirus warriors in curbing the spread of it.

Illumination of 15 navy ships has been planned to salute the efforts of frontline warriors. Banner’s will displayed saying ‘India Salutes Corona Warriors’ and will also sound the ship’s siren and fire flares at 7.30 pm at Anchorage in Mumbai.

Indian Navy aviation will shower flower petals by helicopters on COVID-19 hospitals on Sunday 3rd may declare as ‘Corona Warriors Day’.

The COVID-19 hospitals were INA will shower flower petals are Kasturba Gandhi hospital and INHS Asvini in Colaba, and GMC and ESI hospital. The salutation is planned to be held at 10 am.

Human chain messages will be displayed on Runways of Goa to honour the COVID-19 warriors. Aerial photography would be done during the activity and social distancing norms will be ensured.
