Indian Premier League 13 Is All Set To Take Place In UAE From 19 September To 09 November

Mumbai: In a huge relief to all the cricketing fans here it has been confirmed that one of the most cash-rich tournaments Indian Premier League will take place in the United Arab Emirates and will begin on 19 September and the final will be on 8 November.

“In all likelihood, the IPL will start on 19 September (Saturday) and the final will be on 8 November (Sunday). This is a 51-day window suitable for franchisees as well as broadcasters and other stakeholders,” a  senior BCCI official told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

To finalize the schedule, the IPL Governing Council will meet next week. It is also understood from the same source that BCCI informally informed the franchisee about the same.

“The Indian team will have 14 days of mandatory quarantine as per Australian Government regulations. Plans will be sent with a delay. The best part is that 51 days is not at all dry time and there will be very few double headers. We can stick to the original five doubleheaders in a seven-week window, ”the official said.

The IPL deck was approved only after the ICC postponed the T20 World Cup, which was ranked in that window. This postponement occurred due to the ongoing epidemic.
