India’s COVID-19 Cases Remain Below 30,000 For 4th Straight Day; 284 Deaths

Mumbai: India has reported 27,176 new COVID-19 cases and 284 deaths in the last 24 hours. The country saw less than 30,000 daily cases for fourth day in a row.

Kerala accounted for over 58% of the new cases as it reported 15,876 cases and 129 deaths on Tuesday.

With this COVID19 tally in the country rose to 3,33,16,755, while the death toll climbed to 4,43,497.

The active cases have declined to 3,51,087 and comprise 1.05 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 97.62 per cent, the ministry said.

India crossed the grim milestone of two crore on May 4 and three crore on June 23.
